TEMPURA

INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour, corn starch, baking powder.

Contain: Wheat

 

Recipe ingredients:

  • Seafood: shrimp, squid, fish, etc.
  • Vegetables: onion, okra, bell pepper, etc.
  • Cooking oil
  • Tempura flour 283g
  • Icy cold warter: 400ml
  • INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Prepare shrimp ( peel the shell, keep the tail, and devein ), and dry other seafood/vegetables.
  • Use 2 tablespoons of Tempura flour ( #33 grams ) for the coating. Roll the seafood/ vegetables over the flour.
  • Mix the remaining Tempura flour ( #250 grams ) with 400 ml of icy cold water, and stir until the batter is well mixed.
  • Dip the flour-coated seafood/vegetables into the batter.
  • For making flakes: sprinkle the batter over seafood/vegetables while frying.
  • Deep fry (at about 170-175oC) until golden and crispy.
